Despite all the distractions, intentional or not, we must not lose focus of what today really is about for Christian believers.
If we do, then evil has already prevailed.
Today is about Celebrating the resurrection of Christ, with prayer, family, and feast.
I wish to share the uplifting words of Dr. Carol M. Swain.
Happy Resurrection Sunday,
May this Holy Day for Christian believers bring great understanding and joy to you and your loved ones. My plans include taking my great grandson to church with me this morning. We must pour into our youth.
“The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.” Matthew 28: 5-8 (ESV).
“That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death” Philippians 6:10 (ESV).
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4 (ESV).
Have a blessed day. ✞
✝️ Happy Easter 🐰 🐣
