Delaware Schools are Failing our Children!
Is there a correlation between academic proficiency and woke ideology?
Delaware Public Schools are failing our children!
How does your child's public school compare? Is there a correlation between academic proficiency and woke ideology? I urge not just parents, but all tax paying Delawareans to utilize the Delaware Public School Data Reporting Sysyem, also known as "Delaware Report Card".
I hear school boards talk about getting back to "where we were before Covid”.
I do not accept that! I see a trend of proficiency steadily decreasing throughout ALL subjects well before The Covid ever came into play!!
For the 2019-2020 school year the US department of education waived3 student assessment requirements because of so many COVID related absences and because attendance for standardized testing dropped so drastically.4
Delaware fought to withold 2021 assessment results as well but thankfully they ultimately lost.
Although the U.S. Department of Education waived student assessment requirements in the 2019-2020 academic year due to COVID-19 school building closures that spring, Delaware was required to administer all tests for the 2020-21 academic year.5
DELAWARE STATE AVERAGE PROFICIENCY 2022
Students proficient during the 2021-2022 school year.
42.36% English language arts (ELA)
87.02% Graduation Rate
👉Take notice of how the high graduation rate does not correspond with the proficiency rates.
I believe that to be caused by what they call "equity".
As proficiency has gone down, 📉 per student spending has gone UP! 📈
Delaware spends an average of 💲17,000 of tax payer money PER STUDENT!!!
If government spending was treated with a business profit model, people would be out of a job! Your tax money funds these schools. What is the return on investment?
We are not only the customers, we are the proprietors of this government, and it is up to us to fire those who are steering us into the iceberg ahead! 💪🇺🇸
Remember, their goal is to get back to where they were, pre-pandemic! If that is how low they set their goals, the battle is already lost!
I have included various screenshots from multiple districts. Some students fare far worse than others, yet NONE are by any means acceptable, with the exception of few charter schools. (Charter schools are known to have higher parental engagement 🤔)
Please share Delaware Report Card with everyone! The results speak for themselves. Nothing will get more people involved than when it effects them personally. The simplest reason is that they just don't know!
So few kids took assessment tests last year, scores can’t be compared
