Our Nation is in Crisis. Political unrest, drug addiction, & violence; nothing has been more detrimental to American families than the fatherless epidemic.
The fatherless represent:1
90% of homeless & runaway children
85% of children with behavioral disorders
85% of youth in prison
75% of children in chemical abuse centers
71% of high school dropouts
63% of teen suicides
43% of convicted ‘thrill' killers & sex murderers
Many of today's youth are lead astray by an insidious effort to break down the nuclear family. One of the number one problems in our nation is that we are becoming a fatherless America.
Children need a father to be their mentor, their coach, their hero. Men of integrity. Some kids are blessed by a teacher, a coach or a friend who will step up to fill that void.
There are some tough mothers who wear many hats, but nothing can substitute a positive male role-model in a child's lives. It does not "take a village" to raise a child. It takes a family! —SchoolingDelaware
While on 𝕏, I came across this post by user @tyromper who shares his personal story exemplifying what a father is.
His father was a coach, a mentor, & a father.
Recently Dr. Ben Carson appeared on an episode of the Tuttle Twins cartoon series titled “Fighting for Fatherhood"
These two clips show the positive values infused into each episode of the Tuttle Twins cartoon, based off the children book series of the same name.
Episodes can be watched free through Angel Studios.
These are a few books that I've read that touch on the importance of fatherhood, positive male influence, and the impact it has had in their lives.
